These Freecom DAT backup drives use HP mechanisms to give you both speed and reliability, the two most important requirements of a backup device. Both drives support OBDR (One Button Disaster Recovery) as long as your computer BIOS supports a bootable SCSI device. Available in two capacities 12/24GB and 20/40GB.
• Compressed transfer rates of up to 21.6GB/hour* & 7.2GB/hour**
• Ready to install in a free 5.25" bay
• The 12/24GB drive is DDS3 compatible and will read/write DDS1 & DDS2 media
• The 20/40GB drive is DDS4 compatible and will read/write DDS2 & DDS3 media
• Interface: The 12/24GB uses Single ended, narrow, Ultra 2 SCSI
The 20/40GB uses LVD/SE, Wide, Ultra2 SCSI
• MTBF of 400,000* & 300,000** hours at 12% duty cycle
• Supplied with TapeWare XE v6.3 SP1A backup software which is Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP/NT3.51/4.0 compatible
• Min.Sys.Req.: 486DX CPU, 16MB RAM, 5.25" bay , relevant SCSI interface and cable
• Contents: drive, user guide, screws and software on CD
