GALEP-IV Pocket Multiprogrammer

This programmer fits into a pocket or technician's toolkit and has a universal programming capability with a custom ASIC pin driver. Connection to a PC, laptop or notebook is via a supplied lead to the parallel port and power is supplied by six internal rechargeable NiMH AAA batteries (not supplied) or the supplied AC/DC adapter.
• Easily operated via “Pulldown” menus and dialogue boxes on the PC
• LEDs give indication as to the status of the programmer
• Around 8 hours continuous use can be expected from one charge of the batteries
• Uses flexible pin driver technology: pins are assigned by the software to be inputs or outputs with a flexible voltage range
• To support new devices the latest software may be downloaded from the Internet
• Fast data transfer, e.g. 27C512 read and compare in 2 seconds
• Supports HEX, JEDEC and binary files
• Software supplied on CD-ROM
• Automatic split/shuffle feature for 8-bit, 16-bit or 32-bit targets

• Integrated HEX and fusemap editor
• Over 1300 supported devices: including 16-bit EPROMS, EEPROMS, Flash EPROMs, Serial EPROMS, GAL's, PALCE's, PIC Microcontrollers with low voltage support to 1.3V
