Quadriform Dataserve picture collection.

We love digital pictures, a few years ago creating a massive collection of images was very messy, all that silver halide, well ok you had to take the film to a processor! It was still time consuming and the results were variable, even with bracketing. Today it's a breeze, get a half reasonable digital camera loaded with flash memory and your away!

So a recent acquisition of a new camera with a couple of lens, has replaced the ageing Fuji, allowing for greater control and better detail.

One thing to remember with all things digital . . . BACK UP!

Lotus Elan

The shots taken last year of the Lotus Elan were done with the Fuji and are very pleasing, however looking forward to some cool pictures with the E-500 of the Lotus.

Around The Parlington Estate [1]

A few examples, of the scenery around the office, good for getting the creative juices flowing.

Around The Parlington Estate [2]

When the sun rises or sets it's often a good time for taking photographs, here are some taken recently.

More Local Stuff

There is no doubt that photos of sunsets are very evocative, however there is a place only a few hundred yards from the office which is a real curio. The Dark Arch built between 1812 and 1814 whilst the Napoleonic Wars were raging on mainland Europe, these pictures were inspired by Rikj Who has some great photos on his Flikr Pages. My shots are very blue, rather than the neutral tones that Rick achieved, but to give a feel for the atmosphere I decided to keep them as shot, without adjustments. The colours harmonise with the site colours as well!!

Aberford Info There was a time when a visit to any town or village in the UK would present you with an opportunity to buy local postcards, sadly this is not the case today, so in an effort to redress the balance we have set up a site to display images of Aberford with a modern take on local postcards. All the files have been stylized in Adobe Photoshop to add some interest and effects, if you would like a set get in touch.

Postcard Views of Aberford, West Yorks

I decided a good place to store some of my photographs would be on Flikr™ so if you wish to view them click here
