Quadriform Dataserve :: Other Stuff.
A recent purchase of Aperture, Apple Computer's excellent photo management software, has given us lots to learn. It is a deep programme with much to offer, we believe more comprehensive than Lightroom by Adobe. However, whilst getting started is easy like all Apple products, it is good at keeping its secrets. There are many links on the web that can provide detailed information on this groundbreaking app. this short list is by no means exhaustive but I think is a good starting point, if you know of more I would like to hear of them.

Other Software :: File Utility
A source of irritation over the years has been the messy procedure of renaming files, without resorting to the command line, so when we came across Name Those Files!
by Jonathan Nathan at jonn8.com we were greatly impressed by this utility programme and for only $18.75 (£9.00ish in UK stuff) it's a no-brainer!
This is a description from Jonathan's siteName those Files! allows you to quickly and easily get a handle on your ever increasing file collections. You love your new digital camera but the file names are less than helpful. NtF! to the rescue! With NtF!, you just select a source folder and then you can rename all of the files contained therein with a more helpful name that optionally includes a prefix or suffix including the date, numbered counters, custom text, etc.
